Preschool Practitioner (Key Person)
Hours – 8:45am – 3:15pm Monday-Friday (32.5 hours per week). Term time only
Salary - £9.30 per hour
We are looking for a member of staff to act as a key person for children aged between 2 to 4 years old. Main duties include:
- being responsible for the learning and development of your key children
- recording key children’s development using an online learning journal
- develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents
- work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all children can play, develop and learn.
Applicants must hold a relevant Level 3 qualification e.g. NVQ 3, NCFE CACHE, BTEC Level 3. A current ‘Paediatric First Aid’ certificate, ‘Food Hygiene’ certificate and an understanding of safeguarding are desirable.
All applicants must be prepared to disclose any convictions they may have and/or any orders which have been made against them. An enhanced DBS check will be made before employment.
