Frank Brangwyn’s powerful drawings and prints of the plight of Belgian refugees had a strong impact on British public opinion to join the war in their support.

Learning from his example and other campaigning posters, young people get ‘back to graphic design basics’ using simple elements of text, image and composition to give their own poster campaign message maximum impact.
